  • Accept bike donations for recycling

  • Provide affordable bike servicing

  • Recycle bikes as affordable transport

  • Provide bikes for people with special needs

  • Provide bikes for needy people

We sell ready to ride bikes

We have new and used parts

Our donated bikes are rebuilt and sold back to the community.  We have all sorts of bikes for women, mens and children.  This includes buddy & classic bikes.

"“When I got the bike I must have been the happiest boy in Liverpool, maybe the world.”

           –John Lennon

We are the go to place for Buddy Bikes

The Buddy Bike® is the alternative inline tandem bicycle (bicycle for two) that places the stoker (smaller rider) in the front seat while the rear rider controls the steering. The Buddy Bike has a lower front seat so both riders can safely enjoy the view. It is shorter in length than a typical tandem, making it easier to store and transport...(more)

We are the go to place for Classic Bikes

We service, provide TLC to restore your bike to its former glory and have a large range of spare parts at reasonable prices...(more)

Volunteering
Volunteering

We love our volunteers

Volunteers are the lifeblood of back2bikes

Most volunteers want to come and work on bikes. We welcome volunteers to the workshop, there are no pre-requisites other than a love of bikes and a willingness to learn. There are also non-workshop activities that we need help with. Come along to 525 Williamstown Road, Port Melbourne  (see opening days) and talk to our manager Mark or call on 0416 988 516.  Or just complete the volunteer form  and we will be in touch... (More)
